I'd put that on the coaches. You don't go out and trade for a world class square peg and then try to force it into a round hole. Should have built packages around his skills and not try to force him into a system he doesn't fit.For me it was Jimmy Graham. Especially after how Wilson vouched for him to come here. It just never worked out. It's clear the Seahawks like TE's who can block.
He blitzed the QB and got juked, but still pressured Jones. Had a fantastic hit/tackle in the flat that fired up the sidelines. Don't really recall the other 7.How'd he do on the other 9 plays?
Adams seems to be extremely well liked by both players and coaches.PH we lost a 1st, but lost 2 #1's for JA. However, JA is not a cancer. I think he is a good team player from what little i see. JG sucked 'cuz we lost Unger as well.
I'm hoping JS/PC are done with the splash trades. We tend to lose when we seek the star players.
Trades like Marshawn seem to work better. Good players being held back for some reason. Don't mortgage the farm and get players that have the potential but for whatever reason they haven't excelled, are overlooked, etc.
The impact Jamal had was from the SIDE of the head, in a sideways direction, which (from my non-expert personal experience) seems to cause concussions more that any other type of impact. It doesn't look like much, but that side impact... concussion city.Damn he took a knee right to the head. that sucks.
I don't care if anybody cares.View attachment 60967
also... your a fobbit or a POG.
Easily the Percy Harvin trade. It cost us a *minimum* of one super bowl. The same can't be said about any other trade in team history.hey man out of curiosity, what do you think is the worst trade of the Pete era? I think this turned out to be in hindsight, but at the time it wasn't a terrible trade.
Supposedly he was already considering retirement before. Add a concussion to the list and he just might. If he suffers another injury this year I wouldn't be shocked if he retires. As much as I hate every aspect of the trade, it isn't his fault that a team was dumb enough to trade for him and give him a blank check. If nothing else, I bet he wants to put this period behind him. A change of scenery with low expectations might be his only way of continuing his career. With the way he plays the game, he won't last 4 quarters.
I like the heart he plays with, but understand that his playing style carries a significant risk for injury.
If he can't stay healthy for more than a game this season, he might have to hang 'em up.
Dang uncle will too… Jamal is really tough thoughI'm proving why you can't prove me wrong given by definition you are living in a fantasy world so obviously you are wrong and I have nothing to prove. Again your turn. The guy is worse then Uncle Will he's literally a walking injury st best.
He's definitely a dude you need to account for which we lack on this defense. Gonna free up other guys to make plays for sure.Adams balled out. You can already see his energy. Dudes been out a year+.
Unfortunate knee to the helmet. But, if that was a glimpse of what’s to come, you haters can go ahead and start cooking your crow.
Welcome back Prez!!!
Why is this forum sooooo black & white on everything. Adams is really fast and makes some highly athletic plays...sometimes electrifying. However, his tackling on that play was horrific. I chalk it up to cobwebs... but he tackled the grass a yard ahead of the runner with his face in the dirt. That is not the way it is supposed to be done. See what you hit...basic coaching from pee wee league. That doesn't change when you get to the pros.
I am happy to have Adams back and think he can help in the box and across the LOS, but understand we will give up yards at times from plays he whiffs on. It's also highly reasonable to believe he will not make it through the season.
For his own health, he may need to consider retiring after this season. It's unfortunate due to his athletic capabilities...but it might just be the best thing for him and the team.
Ready for the diatribe to follow....Wts. On my way! Bac
907….I miss home. I’m in Dayton now…raising my kids here but damn I miss Anchorage.Jamal needs to learn some basic fundamental wrestling take downs and body positioning awareness. Attack the hips, wrap up, connect your hands and it’s easy to take someone down when they are that athletic and strong. He decided to fly like Superman going head first face down towards Daniel Jones shin bones/ knee caps like he was scared or somethin! That had me gigglin. Jamal needs Jesus folks! Sending prayers for rest of Jamals season and career! Come on JP we pulling for ya and we need ya!!!
IMO, JA doesn't need to get riffed by us on this one for being sent out on CC protocol. But as noted by a poster, that's not the way to tackle.
Gotta love the passion and energy though. It’s something echoed from all the staff and players who talk about him. And it resonates with them too.Rust…shaking it off.
So true! His energy gets the whole defense hyped.Gotta love the passion and energy though. It’s something echoed from all the staff and players who talk about him. And it resonates with them too.
I don’t see this happening. I get the dissatisfaction, the negative trade value, etc.Supposedly he was already considering retirement before. Add a concussion to the list and he just might. Out of curiosity, If Jamal did retire how would that effect the cap going forward? I hope he doesn't, I want him to play but just curious.Supposedly he was already considering retirement before. Any money still owed to him would get counted against the cap if he retired. That's part of the reason why "guaranteed money" is paid in different types of bonuses. Not all "guaranteed money" is *fully* guaranteed. I believe players forfeit roster bonuses and workout bonuses if they retire. Those are "guaranteed" in the sense that as long as the player is still active and/or showing up to the team's facilities they are guaranteed to get that money.Out of curiosity, If Jamal did retire how would that effect the cap going forward?
