I went to Parris Island boot camp in 97 where I got kneed in the head kicked in the stomach thrown all over the place. I graduated just fine, Oh, and I went to Iraq for 6 months where I was shot 3 times. Like I said, dudes soft and made of glass. Now, take 2 steps back and shut your mouth.
Are you mocking me? I literally put my life on the line for this country while you were still swimming in your daddy's nut sack. Something you clearly have not or will not do. Make all the jokes you want, it doesn't bother me on bit. Go back to drinking your yoohoo and eating cheerios. Were you shot in the head? Because it sounds like you were shot in the head.

I don't think people are mocking your service. I think that is appreciated by many.
However, you used your service to do 2 things:
- Mock the toughness of a hawk that appears to have been concussed.
- Espouse your own toughness from what you did @ Paris Island.
Neither paint you in a good light for many on the board. Thank you for your service, but do not expect it to protect you from critical feedback...especailly when you are in the process of criticizing someone...especially a hawk that was injured.
He threw himself into that tackle. Unfortunately, he took a knee to the head. That could have happened to anyone. It will just be interesting to see his "style" of play. Will he go flying into opposing players as usual like nothing ever happened or will he make some "business decisions?" The latter doesn't seem to be his style.
IMO, JA doesn't need to get riffed by us on this one for being sent out on CC protocol. But as noted by a poster, that's not the way to tackle.
Am I mocking you? No, I'm saying your ill-informed opinion sounds like you got shot in the head, tough guy. And, my DD-214 is from 1980, sonny boy. So that opinion is also ill-informed.Are you mocking me? I literally put my life on the line for this country while you were still swimming in your daddy's nut sack. Yes, it really is that bad.Given the circumstances, I'll continue to argue that the Jamal Adams trade wasn't that bad. And the extension only looks terrible in hindsight because of injuries. People forget the trade was made to push the team over the top; we won 12 games that season. And despite his faults, Adams still set an NFL record for sacks by a DB in a system that didn't suit his skill set.
The new scheme was built around Jamal's skillset, and he hasn't really had a chance to shine yet. It would not be shocking if he ends up turning his legacy in Seattle around, assuming he stays healthy.
Kind of like teams using a 1st round pick on a QB who really deserved to be 3rd round. It isn't the QB's fault that teams insist on overdrafting the position.Jamal with his contract and what Seattle gave up for him, is fair game for criticism. Whether he likes or not, is not a concern.
I was never on-board from the beginning. The price was too steep at the time, and I say that without the benefit of hindsight.
It's unfortunate. But I do hope Jamal Adams can have a good year or two. He will never live up to what Seattle gave up for him but that is beyond his control.

You've got your facts wrong. Jamal didn't get his extension until after his first season with Seattle. He was coming off 9.5 sacks and a Pro Bowl season. Say that out loud: they gave an extension to a 25-year-old former all-pro who was miscast in a scheme that the team was in the process of changing. Maybe it's an overpay, but it's not a bad extension without the benefit of hindsight.Yes, it really is that bad.
No, the extension doesn't just look terrible in hindsight. Generally extensions are given to players already on your team. Giving a huge extension to someone who has played 0 downs for you is stupid no matter what. The extension looked bad before the ink was dry.
Saying that a trade was made to push us over the top does nothing to mitigate the damage of a terrible trade. Besides, it is assumed that every move a team makes is to try to make the team better, so any failed move is still a failed move. Those draft picks + salary cap space could've put us over the top.
A team should not go with a new scheme that is suited for a player who rarely plays and has never been a real part of the team. That is a mistake no team should make.
Every week the trade looks worse, and it looked terrible on day 1.
Never mind the 9.5 was a league record for a safetyYou've got your facts wrong. Jamal didn't get his extension until after his first season with Seattle.
