I mentioned this in the bold prediction thread, but I really would not have been surprised if JS was offering the 2016 1st as a means to move into Atlanta's slot. Similar to what the Broncos offered us in 2009 for our high 2nd rounder (which we then converted into Earl Thomas the year after)
The Seahawks are extremely focused not only on the present year draft, but draft boards 1-2 years down the road.. would not surprise me at all if they figured our 2016 1st will be in the 30-32 range again and worth the risk on a DGB type player.
