I expect the waivers, waiver claims, cuts, IR designations, PUP assignments, trades if any, FA pickups, will start to happen after the the game tonight. In fact it might be instructive to see who though eligible to play is not played by the team as there may be something in the works for the player and the team doesn't want to risk any injury.

In all the team will need to deal with 37 players to reach the 53 man limit. 10 of them would be eligible to be returned to the PS. Of particular interest will be the RBs, WRs, OLine, DLine, reserve LBs, and the depth at DB (both CB and S).

Expect JS to be be active in attempting to grab players of interest to the team cut loose elsewhere so expect some new faces and the loss of several good players who are surplus to needs. The 53 man roster is usually never set in stone even after the cuts to 53 and every season some late changes always happen right up to the start of the first game with some churning as the early season goes along.

With the team shopping Kearse, Lane, and Collins to see if there is trade interest we can expect some movement we may or may not have thought inevitable. No position group is totally secure although some starting positions certainly are.

It's being reported by Bob Condotta that the Hawks have traded a late pick to NE for CB- Justin Coleman who is a nickle CB.

Coleman was on the PS in 2015, then picked up by NE.

Doesn't quite have 32 " arms and 1s 5'1" but ran a 3.98 SS.

There will be a lot of changes happening quickly over the next few days and everyone should expect some lag in the updating as ensuring the correctness of the updates is important for accuracy reasons. As well I have some time consuming committments over the long weekend and will only have a cell phone which is very hard to do updates upon.

Gee Scott of 710 ESPN Seattle is reporting that Jermaine Kearse has been traded to the Jets.

Roster updates awaiting confirmation from other sources.

Interesting news if true b/c it then frees up yet another $2.2 mil in available cap.

Mike Garafolo is reporting the Hawks have traded CB- Tramaine Brock to the Vikings and Schefter says it was for a 7th rd. pick.

Pretty good move for a player the team has had on the 90 man roster for less than a month.

I've now updated for the moves made yesterday.

Today I suspect we may possibly see a change or two to the 53 and the PS will star being named.
