A look back at Weeks 1 and 2

Last time Seahawks won in Week 1 was 2016 -- a home game vs. Miami Dolphins with a final score of 12-10 in which no touchdowns were scored until the fourth quarter. The final score of "12" was courtesy of Miami blocking Hauschka's extra point attempt, and in the final 20 seconds of the game, Marsh and Avril had back-to-back sacks of Tannehill. The following week, Seattle lost to the Rams 3-9.

Since it seems Seattle routinely notches at least one loss in the first two weeks of each season, their penchant for making the playoffs notwithstanding, I checked and found this to be true except for the dominating 2013 season when they finished 13-3 and won it all.

Should be a very interesting game vs. Bengals!

All I've been able to think about when looking towards the Bengals game is that Dolphins opener. Everyone expected us to walk it and it was frustrating at times. With our slow starts it could be similar against Cincy.

Well probably more importantly is we’ve only won one away game early and won all our home games. I think that’s more a reason than the 1-1 split thing. Last year we played two opening road games. So we lost both.

General road to success for the Hawks is dominate at home and go 4-4 on the road. And get rolling in November once the young kids get up to speed.
