At least six teams have inquired with the Arizona Cardinals about trading up for the third overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

The Cardinals still are mulling whether to move the pick or make it, sources told ESPN.

aka Cardinals really want extra picks from Indy, so this gets put out hoping the Colts think there is a pressing need to trade up. Cards win twice if they get a deal with Indy.

Yep. That unnamed source is known as the Cardinals.

Odd that the unnamed source knows the exact number of teams that have “reached out” eh?

Roughy spot to be in. If someone offers you a trade you can’t refuse, you then watch a division rival take the guy you could’ve grabbed.

If you don’t trade it away, you’re 100% confident about the pick and you watch your division rival grab a guy like Richardson who is either going to be the best player in the NFL…or a dud.

Their staff has to be on Ritalin atm.

Cardinals... just think, they could draft the next Kelly Stouffer at that #3 slot! Or trade down to #6 to do it right.

Yes, that's an obscure historical reference.

They should just take Will Anderson if he's there. Don't dick around. Take a great football player that is widely touted as a leader and culture setter.

I see no possibility the Cards would trade down resulting in us picking before they do. Trading with the Colts might net the Cards extra picks but risk losing out on Anderson, but what good would it do the Colts, seeing that the Cards are nearly unanimously charted to take Anderson at #3? That trade makes no sense.

The Colts would trade picks to move to #3 to keep some other team from moving to #3 and taking the QB the Colts want.

They suck, they have a ton of needs. A trade down would actually be a pretty smart move.

If, and it's a big if, Pete and John are set on taking a qb, I think trading up with the Texans makes the most sense. Texans don't necessarily need a qb now with all the other needs they have, they aren't in our division, and moving back to 5, they could still get more pics and a top defensive player at 5.
