Doesn't look like a mean/angry-hawk. Looks like somewhat annoyed-hawk. I don't really like it, but I think it does look ok on that hat.

But anyway... merchandising!!!

Well hopefully nobody will spend money on it, then it can go away just as fast as it popped up.

The logo could have looked more appealing, as with the top of this very stylized Seahawks "totem," but it would not have been as evocative of the current logo.

Google "HSM-41" and take a look at the squadron's logo. My nephew was stationed with them for a couple of years and gave me a ball cap with that logo. I was planning to wear it this season so it would be a unique look for a Seahawks fan, but they ruined it for me!

Looks like they're going all in on this to bring in some new money from the "it's new so I gotta have it" crowd.

It would have looked a lot sleeker without the bulbous cranial outline. They should shed all the extraneous stuff and just leave the outline of the eyes. Something like this but even more sleek:

I just now figured out, if you stare at the beak and relax your eyes, a hidden 3D image of the Lombardi will appear.

I am not a fan of it, I love my Seahawks logo it doesn't need to change, and if it does hopefully it will be to something better not worse like this is.
