Too short, not fast enough!

Schotty is about 6-foot. He towers over both Wilson and Carroll.

He's on the head-coaching track. Not sure if it'll be here or somewhere else.

The guy is a legit talent.

Not sure where this comes from but Schotty is not head coaching material IMO....at least not yet.

How bout no empty backfield throws on 3rd and 1/2 yard for starters?

Just because he was handed someone elses pot of gold doesn't make him rich.

He's very good - thought of very highly by the organization.

Not all play calls are perfect to be sure, but he's managed to squeeze a lot of good out of the talent available and in the process helped Russ to have his most efficient season yet.

Schotty ball is good ball...

Big props to Pete for pushing aside ego and giving Schotty his much-deserved due.

Now if we could just eliminate some of those penalties, which has been a problem for this team ever since the Pete era began, but this last game it was REAL bad and cost us a win...

Schotty getting a lot of love for Solaris work.

Weird I didn't know Solari called the run plays...

He doesn't. It's Schotty's call and he's been doing a heck of a good job of it.

Solari has the line working well to fit into Schotty's system and Pete, as stated by the announcers today, took a big step back and let Schotty do his thing.

Wise move on Pete's part.

Schotty ball is good ball.

GO HAWKS!!!
I think you missed his dripping sarcasm. (He's basically saying what you said.)

People complained we never run screens. We used a lot yesterday. The one where Sweezy whiffed on the block and the corner tackled Davis should have been a touchdown

Offense is def. more dynamic under Schotty that begins and ends with an emphasis on the run from which other options then follow. The result has been a team that has far exceeded expectations and a Wilson who is having his most efficient season at QB so far.

Schotty ball is good ball.

No doubt, I didn't really know what to expect from him. But him and Solari have been incredibly additions to the team. It's not always predictable, imagine that.

When's the last time Wilson had a decent/good game in the rain. To me it seems to be his kryptonite.

Going through Chicago could be tough. The cold seems to slow him down also.

Am I off base in this perception?

He played college ball at Wisconsin. Like many QB's, numbers might not be the best in the rain or crap weather. But if people think he can't get it done, they are sadly mistaken. But he's kind of used to being told all the stuff that he supposedly CAN'T do.

No, your concern is valid. Wilson still has some serious physical deficiencies that some teams are able to magnify.

One would think his huge hands would be a big advantage in tough weather conditions but he does seem to struggle for some reason.

For now let's get another win Sunday and worry about possible outcomes later...

GO HAWKS!!!!

He only played there for one season, and how many days were snowy/rainy that he played?

I just think way too much is made out of the weather thing, regardless if it's Russ or not. They are football players, weather shouldn't be an excuse for not performing. And this team is going to win largely due to their running game.

Agreed.

We live and die by the run - Wilson included.

In Schotty We Trust!
