No Seattle Seahawks player will wear Marshawn Lynch's No. 24 in 2016.
General manager John Schneider confirmed Monday the team wouldn't be giving out that jersey number.
"One of my last conversations with Marshawn was that nobody was going to wear No. 24 this year in the regular season," Schneider told 710 ESPN Seattle, via ESPN.com
Keeping No. 24 out of rotation is a nod to the important role Lynch played in the rise of the current iteration of the Seahawks and exemplifies what the running back meant to the locker room.
