This is the most obvious trick play move since the Seneca Wallace days. Still would very shocked if he saw a single snap on offence, other than to be used as a decoy

Maybe we will see one of those bubble screen throws like the pats did.

What would be the purpose in moving a man to the 53 this late in the season if they weren't thinking of activating him too?

IIRC they had some interest in looking at Zimmer at fullback.

Isn't he with the Vikings though? Wouldn't he have to clear waivers first?

I'm confused.

How freaking cool would it be if we saw a trick play similar to the NFCCG against Carolina when Seneca Wallace dusted Ken Lucas for a huge catch?

What trick play. The dude lined up at receiver and caught a nice pass.

LOL ..... Last I heard his dad is going to remain with the Vikings. It's interesting to have a Viking coaches kid on the roster.

Yea I think a bubble screen to BJ would be the LAST thing that would work. That play is so fresh in every DC's mind from that NE game and as soon as GB sees BJ lining up outside, they'll be looking for exactly that to happen. That's why I could way more see us faking a throw out there and then throwing a dump off pass to the opposite side, or something along those lines. Far more of a chance they'd use him as a decoy considering how much they value the ball

No, no, no. This Zimmer's dad is Don Zimmer

The anticipation of BJ is pretty damned exciting....

Seattle is throbbing at the thought of the penetration that could take place.

As someone who badly wanted Daniels in the 2013 draft, I'm stoked to hear Carroll rave on and on about Daniels work ethic. He is a very talented mobile QB, a lot like Wilson. But he's actually a better runner than Wilson is, and has the potential to be a Golden Tate type of player at WR if they can develop him.

Well, this would be the perfect time to unveil his talents.

Get some game experience on the big stage. Take it from a person that knows about stage presence.

When you play in front of people, the good ones rise up.

Did you want him as a QB or for his potential as a WR?

Can he play cornerback? We really needed some help at Corner on Sat with the way Simon was abused.
Does anyone know what happened to Burley?

Burley was inactive. Simon has MUCH more potential than Burley. Burley is better suited for the slot.

Simon had a poor outing, but he's not a poor corner. Even mentioning Daniels as a replacement for Simon is utterly ridiculous.

I actually think this gets towards the real plan even this weekend. BJ is big and fast. The Green Bay defense has no idea how to defend a running QB. Even if it's part of a triple option look for which there would be no tape.
