Kirk Cousins is this day and age's Dave Kreig. Streaky as hell. Over the next three years, I'd rather have Alex Smith. By a lot.

Gotta say I agree.

Smith is more athletic, more experienced, and throws way less picks. Surprised a bit what the Skins gave up, but still.

I don't think Chiefs fans believe they can win a SB with Alex Smith. This might be an Andy Reid in the playoffs thing, but I'm not sure I disagree with them. Smith is definitely solid, but he's also a function of the scheme and surrounding talent, both of which are really good in KC. Gruden is also a really good offensive mind, so he should also do well in DC.
