The Seahawks added veteran cornerback Artie Burns to the 53-man roster after he was elevated from the practice squad for each of the past two games.

And of course we wouldn't be who we are if we didn't throw in a few PS changes to go with it....

The Seahawks also made changes to their practice squad, signing receiver Tyjon Lindsey and nose tackle Carl Davis, and releasing receiver Matt Landers and cornerback Robert Rochell.

By my count that puts our PS at 15, so they do have room to re-sign Ahlers or make another move there.

We already know one is injured. Metcalf hurt his ribs Sunday. He came back in, but we aren't really privy to what he might be going through.

Besides, it's our PS, they run guys in and out of the practice squad at lots of positions. It gives them a pool to choose from if necessary later.

Good to hear they are adding Carl Davis. He's well traveled throughout the NFL but has been solid plugger in the middle of the defensive line.

Lindsey makes sense as well. He's a ST player - returns specialist, IIRC.

This is such a bummer. Maybe Davis can help with the rotation. He's bounced around the league for ages it seems.
