Fant looks to be a Jet

Starting right tackle Breno Giacomini was the previous offensive lineman the Seahawks lost to the Jets during the 2014 free agency period.

I'm glad we got to enjoy the play of Fant and his unique fit with the Seahawks. He still has additional upside development that only game snaps will bring out. Wish him all the best.

They Jets signed James Carpenter in 2015 too. They love them some Seahawks offensive lineman.

He was basically used as a blocker and he wanted more . He wanted to be a starter on the left so now he will . Seems like too much money for a part time utility player . IMO

The Jets did not sign Fant to be a part time utility backup and role player. Their paying him to be a starter in a rebuild of their offensive line.

Well, I'm sorry to lose him. He filled in well for a few games at LT and was a damn fine swing T/TE.

Can't blame him. He was probably a couple of years away from starting at LT here, so he gets starter money and probably starter's job there.
