This is what builds a culture and will get future players to want to play here.
So basically in return for trading Russ we got:
1- a bunch of picks
2- major salary cap help
3- the return of the XLVIII alphas back in the building

Hawks officially won the trade.

It's interesting that all these guys came back AFTER Lil Russell vacated the building.

Say what you want about Pete, but he has built a culture, if all these players thought he sucked as a coach and didn't like him as a person they would not be around, but yet they are.

Wins and losses are important, but what Pete has built here transcends all of that.

Sherm was playing for another team last year, Avril has been around the team since his retirement and Lynch literally came out of retirement and played alongside Russ.
