Cool, Fisher plan for a guy that has yet to play a down for us , sneaky Pete giving Fisher something to chew on.

At 34 years old, Fred's probably not going to play more than one season, but I'm sure keeping Beast's spirits high was a major consideration for bringing in Jackson. But the primary reasons was the combination of the injury to Turbin and the team's lack of confidence in Michael. Our #2 back, no matter who he is, stands to see significant playing time and I don't think the team was comfortable with Rawls stepping in and filling that role, at least not in the first part of the season.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Rawls starts seeing some PT after about Week 5 or so. My understanding is that they really like the kid.
