Geno taking heat off his ball

I think Geno either is dinged up or he's being told to take some heat off his ball. Several passes today have been overthrown or late because he's trying to finesse. I'm curious if he's dinged up or if he's being coached to take some speed off his ball. Either way it sucks. He needs to worry about reads and just sling the ball. I think his coaches are in his head too much about the wrong things.
