The Seahawks are heading into a season with no healthy and/or legit DEs. Their best pass rusher may be Reed. Anything they can do to keep Reed and what little DEs they do have clean and fresh will help.

Its also alot cheaper to have a rotation of interior line players than it is DEs. This move isn't necessarily about a dislike for any existing players. Its about having a deep rotation so Reed can rush more and protect a sub-par DE core.

I fully expect the Seahawks to carry 1 or 2 more interior lineman than usual. Its what they have to do now.

He chased down everything. Dude could run!

That's a great video. "I'm not going to put Carolina in with that great Seattle Defense."

You hit it spot on. Tuba was always making plays 10-15 yards downfield because he played so hard. Also loved how he would bail out and read screens.

Loved when he picked Ben!

Notice how pumped the team is for him?

Moves like this usually mean the staff is disappointed in the performance of the current roster at the position.

Indeed. Which is annoying given that we just brought Al Woods in.
