50-0 would be the way I would choose. Nice and even.

Ill take it any way I can get it, but I do think it would have hit me a lot harder emotionally if it was a closer game. So in that sense, I wish it wasn't such a blowout.

What I love about the outcome is it left no doubt. There's no, "if it hadn't been for this call..." or "if they had only made this one play..." etc.

This was PERFECT! I totally enjoyed the curb stopping ride! Got on them early and took any potential zebra interference out of the game! Wouldn't have changed a thing! Nobody in their right mind can question this Lombardi's legitimacy when you destroy a team by 5 touchdowns!

I've heard a couple times now from Hawk supporters that they are glad we won but would have enjoyed a closer game, even a comeback win for the Hawks.

1. No doubt whatsoever as to the better team on the field that day, or in the NFL this year. Period.

2. 60 minutes of heart palpitations and sweat and grinding teeth and years off my life avoided.

3. One of the most fun, relaxed, and enjoyable Seahawks games in my entire 38 years of Seahawks fandom.
Sailor for the win, great points and great clip, love that movie!

I've got to echo the overall sentiment on this thread and say that the blowout is the way I wanted it. Leave no doubt as they say. I loved hearing the pundits eat crow this morning and seeing all the butt-hurt Niner fans's posts on Facebook. Some Niner fans were great giving the team props. I'm talking about the obnoxious ones. It was pretty nice seeing their posts

this was it for me. The Harvin kick-off return iced the game right after the half so I was able to just party with everyone for the last half of the game.

Give em a blow victory everyday of the week. This game left no doubt who was the best team.

After giving us heart attacks all throughout the regular season and playoffs, the way we won the SB was a big "happy off season" gift from the team to us. Here, let us blow the doors off these pretenders so you can start relaxing in the 2nd quarter, and then pop the cork at the opening of the 3rd quarter and enjoy a full 2 quarters of football porn without needing a defibrillator.

Yes, this is the way I wanted to win. Any change would only be to make it an even bigger blowout.

Plus this margin of victory completely renders the national media mute, speechless, and without clothes before their audience, and turns the discussion from "well Seattle was lucky to get here with that great HFA" to "did we just see the greatest defensive performance in a Superbowl?" Our D isn't in the discussion for legendary status without that kind of exclamation point over the offense everyone slobbered over for an entire season. The only way for the media to retain a shred of dignity after pimping the weak AFC is to just crown us the best D ever.

This game will go down as one of the "worst Super Bowls of all time". You'll see it on all the Top 5 lists.

But I wouldn't change it.

They did their motto proud: they left no doubt.

No one doubts who the best team this year is.

It would have been nice if we could have scored a few more touchdowns.

I predicted a blowout so I am gloating in my awesomeness today. I am a venerable "I told you so" and will be taking my winning ticket back to Vegas this weekend to celebrate. (I bet $400 on the Hawks to win the SB in November).

I don't think anyone wished a close game, you play to win and you show everything you got on the biggest event of your season. Getting there is not easy, winning it with a thumping, pure bliss
was worth every penny of my ticket.. Well except the train ride with the wait times of over 2 hours each way standing in line. Really please never keep a Superbowl in New York!

If I was not a Seahawk fan, or had a reason to root against the Broncos, this game would not have been a great game to watch. A back and forth, last drive to win would be better.
But being what I am, a die hard member of THEE 12th man, this game was near perfection.
GoHawks.

I think this is about as good as it gets, I can't think of a better scenario.............and everyone saw it.

Blowout, Denver, Elway, Manning, New York, Haters, Best on Best, we are tied for the youngest winning squad ever.

The biggest Super Bowl blowout in two decades had the biggest viewership ever, according to final numbers provided by Fox Sports.

Super Bowl XLVIII delivered an incredible 111.5 million viewers. That’s enough to rank Sunday’s game as the most-watched U.S. TV telecast of all time, edging out 2011′s previous record-holding game.

Maybe if Steve Raible & Warren Moon replaced Buck and Aikman, that would rock.

Who in their right mind doesn't want a blowout? That was a phenomenal game. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.
