Well, in the end Denver did not sit him just over the injury guarantees as he remained practicing and playing as qb2 even after his benching.
Which brings up why the Union and league apparently said it was illegal to bench for guarantee reasons when the Raiders kicked Carr out of the building entirely.
Plus, it’s clear that the reason Denver hasn’t pulled the plug is that they want some trade language or major pay cut. Russ could probably stay and play for 40 million if that was it, but He’s already said he won’t so why pretend there’s hope in Denver?

Russ should have put his focus on how He’s grateful for his next opportunity, wherever it is, and how He’s learned to play better For his experience in Denver. I mean, why go over how Important injury guarantees are to you when your Next team wants you for a year at vet minimum as Denver pays the rest?
