Another indictment on Bevell is when the Hawks go into their 2 min offense, they move the ball just fine. Coincidentally Russell makes the majority of the play calls in these situations, not Bevell.

A couple things worth mentioning:

* The defense is playing a different scheme against a 2 minute offense.

* Bevell has a hand in Russell's development in running the 2 minute offense.

His inability to move on from Bevell has hurt the team same could be said with Cable.

Neither Coach Pete or Bevell fumbled the ball within sight of the goal line and winning the game.

That one belongs to ole butter fingers himself, Christine Michaels, a soon to be former Seahawk, IMO.

GO HAWKS!!!

No, but their game planning and play calling put the Seahawks in a position where it came down to that.

You'd be lying to yourself if you believe that the powers that be in the NFL, right down to the Referees would have allowed ANYBODY to beat the Rams in their Homecoming Home-opener...The Seahawks were up against too much money & too much hype.

Unlikely considering Rawls may have re-injured his ankle and could likely have his career cut short ultimately.

We will need a running back.

Is JS really bringing in the Talent?

2013 - 2016 draft choices. VERY few impactful players. Tyler Lockett. Thats about it. That is truely sad. Picked 3 RBs this year and didn't really need any. Harvin was a bebacle. Graham is an unnecesary luxury we did't need especially considering what we gave up in dollars and players. Its time to tell the emporers they are without clothes.

Lots of ridiculousness on here. Unlike this thread, Pete knows Bevell's contributions are paramount to reaching our ultimate goal, a Super Bowl championship. Done it before and we'll do it again.

Are you kidding me? CM was great today. Shit happens. Not his problem we lost. We had four effin quarters to win this game on offense and we go a field goal.

Dude I don't know what your allegiance to T-Jack and Bevell are, but it's really starting to creep me out.

Pete should have won Coach of the Year in 2012,2013, and 2014. He's the best in the biz after Belichick. If you must have a scapegoat, JS and the scouting department are more culpable. Bad drafts and dumb trades have derailed our dynasty, and only Pete's ability to develop talent has kept us competitive.

Pete's greatest strength is also his biggest weakness. His positivity creates a great corporate culture and comraderie but also leads to stubborn belief where doubt is rational. Nothing illustrates this like the Robert McNamara-esque policy toward our OL the last two years.

The moment we lose PC, we start losing.

Coaching is the difference between winning and losing. Good coaches can win with better players but great coaches can win with average players. Bad coaches lose with better players. We lose Carroll we are sunk.

But as long as Carroll keeps being loyal to Bevell? We are likely never winning anything again either.

So the question becomes, is it possible to find a good OC that Carroll would be OK coaching? No idea on that one.

Really? There is not another potential HC in this entire country that could still win with this team?

Uh, there are some good players on your list, bruh.

I wish we had Spencer Ware right now.

4 drafts. Some good players. Exactly my point. Then you mention Spenser Ware and you agin make my point. Poor talent evaluation when they cut him.

The reason YOU DON'T even consider the absurd notion of parting ways with his staff at this juncture of the season is what makes Pete the great coach that he is. He understands the reality of the situation.

No one's getting fired, people.

But in the spirit of post-loss knee jerk reactions --- John Schneider is the one who went out and signed Bradley Sowell and J'Marcus Webb, letting Okung walk for peanuts to Denver. All spring and summer we looked at the o-line talent and knew this could be the result.

Michael was the only bright spot on the offense, minus one play. But the game NEVER should have come down to that last drive. The 49ers scored 28 points on that defense a week ago. The loss was because of Bevell sending receivers 15 to 20 yards down field on every pass play when Russell was basically immobile. I know almost nothing about coaching football, and even I could see this strategy would fail with a hobbled Wilson and a horrible O-Line. If anything, the loss was because Michael had only 10 rushes...Bevell gave 9 rushes to Rawls and Collins. Poor strategy. Almost as bad as passing to the #5 WR instead of handing the rock to Marshawn. Plus, Bevell should have known that Browner would recognize that play, and Browner did and told Butler what was coming.
