Not only did Denver have the #1 offense, but the story was about Denver's #1 offensive line. Seattle won that battle handily. Moreno had 15 yards rushing, and Manning was under duress every other snap.

This defense just held a sure-fire, first ballot Hall of Fame quarterback and the league's best ever offense to a single touchdown late in a Super Bowl blowout. They shut down the run, picked off Manning, scored, and completely dominated the best offense ever for 60 full minutes.
