"blessed with the physical intangibles that Russ doesn't have,"
Other than height, I'm curious what those intangibles are?
Mahomes has a stronger arm and height. That's about it. He is, however, a bit better at reading defenses than Wilson was AT THIS STAGE in his career. But Wilson has reached the graduate level on that count.

A more relevant question is this: why isn't that Andy Reid can't run the ball?

Too many quarter pounders?

Quenton Nelson is an animal
:ditto:

He may be the best guard in the league right now with a chance to be one of the best ever.

Eye Popping Performance. Nelson's game performance stood out above all others.

Mahomes looked downright pedestrian.
Most QBs do when the leading running back has 26 yards on 2.6 yards per carry. The hilarious chip on your shoulder about Wilson you Seahawks fans have is hilarious. The second leading running back had 2 yards, and the third -6. When is the last time Wilson had that kind of running game production to help him?

EDIT- If I recall correctly, the Seahawks had two consecutive games to start the season last year with a bad rushing attack (not quite as bad as the Chiefs yesterday), when Wilson threw three INTs and they lost both games, so yeah, having a decent running game helps.

The 2017 season saw Russell Wilson lead the Seahawks in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. We couldn't run the ball, the line couldn't pass block AT ALL and he was 34/11 TD/INT on the season and the Hawks won 9 games (though they didn't make the playoffs).

Does a functioning run game help? Absolutely. But to act like Russ couldn't produce and get Ws without a run game? False.

Him and the other guy Castonzo. The Colts have a good line and
have had it..Which is why I argued on Luck not having one.
