If Penn State wins the conference title, I wouldn't be surprised to see both Penn State and Ohio State make it in.

The committee isn't going to select both a 1-loss non conference champ and a 2-loss conference champ from the Big-10 over a 1-loss PAC-12 conference champ, if it comes down to that. Maybe one or the other, but not both.

In addition to that, Washington is either going to play top-10 Colorado or USC. So IF they win, their resume will not only be boosted by a conference championship, it will be also be boosted by having beat either a top-10 team or the one team that beat them earlier in the year which would make the loss be considered less significant.

There's a potential nightmare scenario if Penn State wins the Big 10, and Alabama, Clemson, and Washington all win their title games. Those three would be locks, with the fourth coming down to Ohio State or Penn State. Buckeyes have the better record, but Penn State won the head to head and was the conference champ. That's not a good situation for OSU. Hopefully, Michigan State wins this game against Penn State and makes all that moot.

Shouldn't as long as they win the pac 12.

That loss to Iowa should hurt MI more than a WA loss to USC.

But remember, the competition committee is full of east coast guys. I bet they skunk the Huskies. Especially if the Huskies squeak out the pac 12 championship.

Oh, don't worry, oregons athletic director is on the committee. I'm sure he'll fight real hard for your huskies.

The problem isn't going to be a two loss, non-conference chamption team. It's going to be a one loss Ohio State who isn't a conference champion. Or a two loss conference champion Penn State.
