I really enjoyed reading the OP. Good mix of facts and personal sentiment.
I'm not a homer, either. At present, I really don't have a good feeling as to which way this team will go. Last year, I honestly felt that we were SB bound, and felt that way from Day 1. This season, I'm not so sure. I didn't like what I saw in the second half of the Oakland game, nor have I liked a lot of what I've seen since the opener against the Packers.
But I am very well aware of how quickly things can change. I have a lot of confidence in our coaches and our core players, so call me a cautious optimist.
