18 is my favorite number so it behooves me to list more than one player...

Koren Robinson. Played basketball with him once. Holy hell, I watched him 3 feet away from me do a 360 spin move and slam dunk. Freak.

Oh, just my favorite number growing up. Not Seahawks-specific. Probably because my birthday is on the 18th.

I just asked because I have a bit of a weird thing about numbers.

We are 17 days away from a real Seahawks football game.
Seahawks uniform number 17 is currently being used by WR Matt Landers.
The player who did the most with Seahawks uniform number 17 is very clearly Dave Krieg.
I have Krieg as the Seahawks' second-best QB ever. He was good enough that I never resented him at all for taking the starting job from my first childhood sports hero. I was just glad the Seahawks had such a good QB. I remember my dad pointing out in '84 that Krieg's many TD passes would have gotten a lot of attention in a normal year, and only weren't getting such attention because Marino was having such an otherworldly season.
Krieg was the starting QB in the Seahawks road games that I attended in Foxborough in '84 and '86.

Good ol' Mudbone. Nobody can trump that number. I too was okay with him replacing Zorn only because he was a great QB for us. Fumbles and sacks aside, lol.

Now, we salute the less savory characters, LOL!!

I want to go back to day 54 for just a moment.

Bobby is on my all time list, I hate that we lost him, absolutely stoked/thrilled that he’s back.
My hope is that he retires as a Hawk, and at minimum ends up in our ROH.

WHO wooda thunk at the time that this would have turned into that?
