Penny Finally Looking Like a 1st Round Pick

Bravo for Penny! It’s about time though.

The two breakout runs for TDs showed exactly why the team thought he was worth drafting in the first round. Sadly despite having talent to burn he’s simply been unavailable to a degree that come close to hanging the bust moniker on him. Procise was very talented but similarly neverable to play without being hurt.

In case we all don’t remember Penny was an Ironman in college and a guy who avoided missing much if any time to injury. However, since becoming a pro his readily visible talent has not been able to avoid one injury after another after another. I need to see more before admitting he isn’t a bust because he can’t stay healthy. However, wow, what a great game from him.

It was sure fun to watch!

It's never been about if we thought he had talent. We knew he did. He just couldn't stay healthy to prove it game after game. I am glad he had a great game today and is still healthy!

Many knew he had incredible talent

But based on the angry responses on draft day, can't say most did
