Seems minor, Megatron misses practice every Tuesday without exception (gives me a scare each Tues as a fantasy owner), and still goes out and does mean things to the opponent each weekend. Its a common thing, no sweat.

Do that about 10 to 15 times a game and you're probably good for about 250 yards and a couple Touch Downs.

You forgot #3: Kick Percy the ball....

I do think that when it comes to superstars who aren't QB's, you tend to rest them a bit especially at the end of the season. They are veterans and don't need the practice as much and given Harvin's size and play style, they may just be trying to keep him fresh for the stretch run.

I've always wondered how Percy's tendency to miss practices would jive with Pete's ultra-competitive practice approach. I could just never fully believe that he would turn that trend in his career around. I know it's not an issue for Marshawn, but Marshawn has more goodwill in the lockerroom and will always take a bigger beating on gamedays than any WR.

The players aren't coming in on Thursday for the holiday, so they started a bit early, and have an extra day on Sunday. I couldn't care less that a guy isn't practicing 6 days before the game.
