Much like he did on offense recently. Norton has no business being a DC in the NFL. He flamed out in Oakland and this group is often out of position, suddenly terrible at tackling, create zero pressure on QB’s and consistently give up big plays. He takes pride in shutting down the run and yet they are one of the worst in the league. I don’t know how Pete looks at all the statistics of this group and can go into the offseason without changes. He’s a defensive guy and because of coaching IMO, this is one of the worst in the league. Unfortunately, Pete has shown willingness to stick with “his” guys for much longer than they should.

They certainly need to replace some players as well but they should not be this bad. Norton is a good positional coach and needs to stay there.
