These are clues that may only make sense in retrospect if they have the opportunity to draft their favorite projected targets.

I still think most of the clues circulated around a couple prospects they liked.....First was Vernon Butler, who I felt that when he was selected by the Panthers, the draft room looked like the pick sucked some of the life out of them. Having Kawann Short & Star L., I think the Hawks thought he would for sure be available at 31 when the Panthers went on the clock. LA Tech's mascot is a dog, the Rodney Dangerfield skit was about being fat/overweight (he was one of, if not the biggest DT slated to be drafted in that range). I think the other options that fit for their 1st round pick & the clues was Ifedi (some of the hints eluded to in here) and Chris Jones. Think they wanted to go with Butler as option 1, Ifedi option 2, Chris Jones option 3.

I think they go with Jones if he's there in the 2nd (or a trade up), but would be happy with Javon Hargrave in the 3rd as well. I have a feeling Hargrave will go higher than most think (Around pick 50 he will be an option for a lot of teams). Just my thoughts though...
