Did we really need a project at DE? I realize it is the 6th round, but it would have been nice to try and find a diamond in the rough for a position of bigger need.

Agree 100% with this proposition -- why not an OL "project"?

We've got enough of those. Roster's loaded with guys who never were
and may never be.

I had him going to Seattle @ #209 in my final mock draft. Pretty cool huh!

His name means "Son of god" Obum is a high jumper clearing 6'9.75"which mite come in handy on special teams.

the tape is much better then I thought it was going to be. He is raw but could be much worse.

I personally had been talking about Obum for months in my mocks.

I found him by looking for Leo prospects by arm length, height + weight.

We have had the this Front office for a few years and they have easily discernable habits and patterns in the things they look for in personnel.

Is he on the Seahawk's roster, or on a futures contract?

Is he in the NFL on a roster?

He was claimed by New Orleans and played 9 games with 2.5 sacks. He is still on their roster.

From what I saw, he was going to have a really long way to go in terms of playing some measure of power at the POA. An edge rusher in Seattle is still going to have to be able to set an edge, whether playing Leo or SLB. It's a prerequisite to getting on the field with any consistency. Being a converted WR didn't help him in the physicality department.

I think we released him last year and he got picked up by NO. I could definitely be wrong. Google it.
