Justin Coleman looks good. We already know Kev Smith, Kasen and Pinkins are great players who missed the final roster by a hair.

I still feel that Pinkins was the biggest roster snub. Should have made it over Morgan. I'm stoked he passed waivers and got on the PS.

For those that don' t know a lot about Coleman (to include myself):

Strengths Plays an aggressive brand of football. Physical in press coverage. Saw more action in slot in 2014 to take advantage of tackling. Defeats block and launches into ball carrier with proper timing. Contain-oriented on the perimeter against run. Instinctive and comfortable in zone. Recognizes combinations and makes proper adjustments. Good ball skills -- 10 passes defensed and 4 interceptions in 2014. Played outside contain on kickoff coverage.

Also had top five marks in the combine (by position) for bench press, 3 cone drill (top score), and the 20 and 60 yard shuttles.

There is also a SB Nation Patriot write up >>> [urltargetblank]http://www.patspulpit.com/2015/9/4/9262943/patriots-sign-justin-coleman?utm_campaign=patspulpit&utm_content=article%3Afixed&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter#[/urltargetblank]

What are the odds on Rod Smith getting on the PS? Rawls was better, and different, but Smith was a bruiser and seemed to have a decent pre-season. Might be good insurance with two older backs a the top of the depth chart. I am sure one of the 10 will be a RB.
I really liked what I saw in Smith as well. A big back that ran hard. I would also like to see him on the PS.

Seriously? Pericak is an OL.

Seriously ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Pericak
"Position: Defensive end"

He was playing OL for Seahawks.

Where did you find this info because even his ONLY game log from SD this preseason is as a defensive end..

EDIT: I'm not being an ass, i just want some more info on the kid, because all i'm finding on him, is him a s defensive player.

I expected Smith to clear. Nice to see him make it.

Pinkins held me in suspense some, but it makes sense that he would fly in under the radar.

Kasen Williams clearing waivers surprises me slightly. He was pretty hyped before his injury at UW railroaded his career, and he looked to be back physically 100% this preseason. I wasn't his biggest fan at UW but this preseason he absolutely looked like an NFL player.

The McGill cut surprised me, so it's not a shock to see that he was claimed. Good player with an uncommon skill set.

I believe I saw him in at Center in the final preseason game in the 2nd half. That's all I can recall.

Awesome so he's a center conversion project, but did he play in all the preseason games? if not which one, only game logs i see are against San Diego So i guess I'll assume thats the one and only game he played.

Looks like Kasen is on the practice squad

Wait - I thought a few people guaranteed he would be waiver claimed. How can this be possible?

Yeah, a few people said that and I am one of them. I'm both surprised and pleased
that he was not claimed.
