Pete made a comment in the pressers about the staff not being particularly positive over a recent check up and they will give it another 2 weeks before assessing him further.

I'm just hoping we have him back for the back end of the playoffs.

After the injury happened Pete said they would evaluate him in 2 week increments.

In his presser Friday Pete said there was 'nothing negative found' so they'll re-evaluate in 2 weeks.

Apologies if my answer has created more confusion to the answer than being helpful.

I was part interpreting Pete's tone when saying Prosise wasn't exactly coming along as hoped. We know how optimistic he normally is re. injuries and what he said to me indicated that there was nothing positive to update reporters with.

Concrete facts are that a) he will be checked again in two weeks and b) none of us really know the status.

My best guess is that the original timeline of at least 6 weeks is now a bit longer.

Based on his previous injuries this year he is a slow healer, I doubt we see him again this season or the playoffs.
