Didn't OBJ sign with the Rams last year, and he didn't make any money at all?


I think the Rams do need OBJ but at least give him a fair contract.

Beckham Jr. had a guaranteed contract with the Browns that included offsets. Regardless of which team he signed for, (if any), Beckham Jr. wouldn't have been better off if the signing team paid him more, (but the Browns would have been). Effectively Beckham Jr. was playing for free but costing the Rams minimum wage. As a Rams fan I thank Beckham Jr. for his services. It wasn't a smart decision on Beckham Jr.'s part and unfortunately he's suffering the consequences for that bravado. I hope the Super Bowl ring was worth it to him. Supposedly the Rams have made him a low-ball offer this year. Even the Rams have a salary cap and historically players returning from an ACL injury don't immediately perform well. Beckham Jr. isn't expected to be NFL ready until the 2nd week in December.

I'm not sure how much OBJ guarantee money lasts but it makes me upset when theres people like Donald or Ramsey hoping OBJ signs with them, and these guys are making 25-30mill per season.

If they want OBJ, or someone that's high caliber player, take a f**** pay cut.
