Thats a steal of a contract for how good Lane is. So glad he didnt get paid as much as Maxwell. Several million less than Maxwell and IMO he was better WHEN healthy.

Hopefully he can stay healthy. That is the only knock on him so far from my view. When he can play he has been very effective.

The next news im looking for hopefully is Walter Thurmond coming back home for a cheap contract. I am a huge fan when he has been healthy and playing for us. If we could go into the season with

Yes. It's a bargain because had he been healthy for the whole season. He would of got Maxwell money.

IMO if Jeremy Lane is healthy. He is a $10M APY corner. The Seahawks are paying him $5.5M. I'll say it again.. the Seahawks are smart.

This. I LOVE JLane for this. He was absolutely reasonable with his contract, and imho, he's worth 7.5 million per year.

Yeah I think this is a great deal for the Hawks and really focuses our draft on the defensive and offensive lines with a receiver or RB thrown in.

I'm happy about this. They're taking a bit of a gamble that he can stay healthy, but they also have enough insurance (Burley, Smith, Simon, Shead, etc.) to make the risk worthwhile.
