He has been invited to the Draft, he is going to go high. Not the 5th or 7th Rnd or UDFA that some here were saying, I would say maybe even 2nd now.

I know that he is getting a huge amount of press because he lacks a hand and that makes him easy to dismiss. I’ve watched hm play at least a half dozen times though and it’s his motor that separates him not his lack of a hand. I would love to have him on our squad because while physically limited by the hand he plays with all his heart.

Exactly. He's explosive, blows plays up and kills offensive drives that even very good players wish they could make. I was curious about him because he is Shaq's twin, who I am very high on, then had the chance to watch two of his games. He is better than his brother, hands down (no pun intended). Then the guy pulls off a 4.3 forty, has absolutely no problems catching the ball and is extremely strong. A perfect football player and it doesn't even matter that he has one hand.

Not gonna get my hopes up though. Can honestly see him going in the first round but maybe not at 18. However, we might not know how much PC and JS love his brother which I suspect they are extremely happy with Shaq's progress so I wouldn't be too surprised if they pull the trigger on Shaquem at 18.

Still don't buy the day 2 pock personally.

4th round.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if he went late 3rd, but I think the 4th is the most likely.

Do you think there is a paradigm about his hand? Guy marks out in just about everything in the measurable. I know he is a tweener but Seattle and other NFL teams tend to like that.

Kind of feel like this is like a Desaun Watson situation. I know many players in college blow that world up then go to the NFL and crash. However, their are some that just have the "it" factor and then blow up the NFL. Adrian Peterson comes to mind. So does Barry Sanders, Julius Peppers and Earl Thomas. Just to name a few.

I'm really thinking Lamar Jackson and Shaquem are going to be a steal in the end for anyone that drafts them. They will be top stories next year or the near future.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
I really, really want this kid. I feel like it would raise team morale having the Bros. Griffin playing together on D. And that alone makes it worth it seeing as how our defensive unit has lost some of their emotional 'sparks'. Make it happen P n J.

I have great faith in Pete, if he signs Shaquem, there's great probability that he will succeed in the league.

If they draft him because they love him as a player and think he helps us win, I’m all for it. If they draft him because it’s a feel good story uniting him with his brother, hard pass.

Would not surprise me if he went late 2nd round.

I’ll bet he’s gone by the 3rd.

Probably a 4 or 5 round talent but his story adds intangible value.

I like him and I am rooting for him, but I wouldn't draft him before round 5, but you just never know in the NFL.

For me personally, if he's still there at #120, I'd pull the trigger. This is kid that I REALLY want (and not just because of the Shaquille connection). Very productive player whom I believe is going to surprise a lot of people.

Shaquem will be in consideration at 120 but I could see DL again with Hurst or Sweat or OL with Crosby or TE or CB. Lots of different ways they can go right now but I could see them waiting until round 5 to pick a specialist like Shaq.

With Kirk and Pettis entering the NFC West we need him even more as a ST stud from day 1.
I don't care who's there at 120. There will be a lot of DT's still there in R5 as will be blocking TE's.
There is nobody who comes close to what Shaquem can give to the Seahawks in many ways.

Exactly. It sounds crazy, but honestly of all the players in this year's draft class, I'd have to say he's my favorite. His resume of what he can do on the field speaks for itself. The fact that he ran a 4.38?!? Dude! That's Lawrence Taylor fast! (and we know how much Pete Carroll values the kind of speed, aggressiveness, and productivity he has)

Yeah, there isn't another guy like this in the draft ... the Hawks could really use him ... AND he wants to be here so he can play with his brother. He's a Pete Carroll prototypical player all the way. It's a marriage made in heaven. Consummate it already boys!

Hoping to take this guy in the 5th, 6th. Someone mentioned that there are other players out there just as strong, just as fast, and don't have a disability.

But...there aren't. 4.38. It's clear he manages his "disability" just fine. This kid has heart. Screw the feel good story portion...

He can flat out play and demands the respect he earned. As far as other teams not calling him up during the combine, their loss.

Make this guy a Hawk....please!

I wouldn’t be mad if we took him @ 120.

Yes that’s probably early but I think he’s a great fit in Seattle, and I think playing for the Seahawks would not only elevate his game, it would elevate his brother’s game as well.
Hell, it might have a ripple effect and elevate the whole team just bit.

There is a slight risk but I think it’s VERY slight, I think the intangible value makes it “worth it”.

I’ve always been big on “team chemistry” and I see this scenario as working wonders for us.

Perfect distraction to get our guys moving away from old wounds.

Edit:
In fact, I’m hoping we do take him @120.
I’m worried we won’t get him otherwise.
Right now, he’s the only guy that I actually have hopes of drafting.
Emotional?
Yes, yes it is but Hell 90% of my fandom is based on emotions.
Why shouldn’t this be.

2nd edit:

And, I challenge anyone to show us a clip of him not having a hand being the reason he didn’t make a play.
I think that’s pretty much a mute point.

I think if he's there at 120 they take him. Day one starter at LB
