Super lame title and it should be edited.

The tweet specifically says "might be done", not "is done".

Not unexpected but this is not good news Seattle should probably take another WR this draft.

That would be awful.

Also, if it's true, we need way the hell more than Metcalf.

I hope not, but it wouldn’t be shocking. He’s had multiple surgeries this offseason and was playing hurt all last year.

Clutch player. Angry Doug has been huge for Seattle and may be the best rookie free agent signing in team history.

Inspirational team leader.

One of the faces of the franchise and an eloquent speaker that spoke truth through his eyes.

Fearless. For his career, had more impossible catches than drops. Probably the most under rated receiver of his era.

His best days are behind him and Lockett will fill his shoes adequately.

Baldwin will always be a Hawk.

I will drink myself into a deep whirlwind of sadness if this ends up being true. I love Angry Doug, even if there was a player just as talented, Doug will always be a Hawk

Maybe we should trade up for Hakeem Butler and have some twin towers for Russ to throw to....

It sounds pretty serious. Doug is officially considering retirement as of Pete and John at the press conference tonight.

JS: "We know Doug's going to have a hard time. There's a process we need to go through with Doug... There's stuff with the league office, with the union that we need to work through with him."

Pete: "We'll see what happens. He's working through it."

JS also mentioned that he initially had Doug graded as a 5th round player and he just lasted to FA.

Sounded ominous

JS also mentioned there are more receivers on the board which is telling.

Angry Doug, our anti measurable, anti analytics hero. If he would to retire .... would he be the first post 2011 star that retires with whole career as a Hawk?

Agreed. The way it sounded, it was as if the paperwork and such was already in process.

Baldwin had an unreal 6.56 3 cone. His quickness was measurably elite of elite...ness.

Also, I think Kam could be considered first, but there's the whole technical aspect too.

This might have leaked tonight, but the FO knew about this for a long time I'm sure.

Russ got to pretty happy with the thought of Metcalf at Split, Angry Doug at Slot, Lockett at flanker. Come on Doug, two more season please?
