This is a team game, right? So let's see... The defense allowed their offense to score 16 points. The offense made 4 touchdowns. Janikowski's inability to kick touchbacks allowed a kick return which his fat ass was unable to take advantage of his positioning to shove the returner out of bounds or at least slow him down, so he cost another 7 points. Janikowski's inability to make a routine PAT cost us another point, and if he had done either of those things right the game ends up 23-16, 24-16, or 24-23 at the end of regulation.

I'd say Janikowski cost us the damn game, no question about it.

We may end up being 9-7 for two consecutive years but so many of our losses are kicker related.

The miss PAT is “forgivable “ but the non-tackling of the returner and had him scored a touchdown is not. Had Seabass knocked him out of bound and saved the TD, we “might” have won the game. The penalties late in the game were insane. It looks almost as if someone had decided SF were going to win the game.

1 This game was horribly officiated.

2 Special teams gave up a TD

Even then , we still had our chance in OT. A bad decision to run the kick out of the end zone and Pocic's 2nd or 3rd holding penalty and game over.

Hey and SF played a hell of a game. They came to play .
