Something PC was alwyas reluctant to do was to add anyone to the QB room who could be perceived as a threat to 3s position as starter. He had the option to add Kaepernick a few years ago and didnt, saying he thought CK was a starter in the league and that we already had one in Wilson.

It was later reported that there was sentiment in the FO that Kaep would be a great pickup, but it was squashed because of Pete's desire to protect Russ's psyche.

And now, the pressure PC was trying to keep away from his personal project / star qb when he was in Seattle is visiting x 2+.

Will this be the force that gets Russ to elevate his game?

Or, will he continue to crumble in the fashion PC feared all along?

My money is Wilson is going to be nothing but injury prone and lame for the rest of his career. You'll see Denver decline and replace him sooner than later. He's over already.

I didn’t like how Perna kept doing the fake Italian accent on DiNucci’s name. This distracted from the point to be made.

The Broncs brought In Jarrett Guantantino for someone to throw to wr tryouts. Then their ps qb Josh Johnson got signed to the 9ers, so they signed him to ps. Then Russ gets concussed, they bring him up to active roster and keep him there for insurance.

The Broncs will roster three qbs, just as every team in our division except us does, and many outside it. If I’m Payton I prefer DiNucci over Jarrett G.
