we need to play by controlling the clock and offense being on the field longer. We can't afford what Alex Smith did to the chargers. We have to keep 3rd downs manageable and keep running the clock. Its a 10 am game, so we need to show up early.

Establish an effective running game early. It's almost a guarantee that Houston and Hali are gonna be coached to set the edge and keep containment against the off tackle runs and the option, so I say we double Poe out of the way and gash them right up the middle early. Traps, Isos, Inside Counters, etc. When Hali and Houston start trying to set up to close the interior lanes and help stop the inside runs, seal them off with off tackle power. Hoping we stay away from running too much outside zone stretch type plays. Teams seem to have a hard time getting outside against their defense. Of course... That could be because they practice against Jamaal Charles.

Really hoping Wilson and Richardson can start connecting on some deep routes; go, post or flag. We need Richardson to start showing teams that he can take the top off a defense along with Lockette. If that happens, the zones open up underneath for Baldwin. Kearse??? I can't believe he burned Jacquian Williams on a deep route and let Jacquian Williams catch him... SMH.
