I would not be surprised if Clowney ends up here. This guy would probably thrive here. I would give Houston a 2nd rounder with a receiver or running back (not the main guys) like a brown or a mckissic hell give them both.

I've been wrong many times before, but I'd be surprised if the Texans end up taking less than what the Seahawks got for Clark, regardless of what team Clowney ends up on.

Clowney turned down what would've been a guaranteed haul with the Dolphins because he didnt believe in their ability to win. Thats...amazing. Makes me really want him here.

Honest question here: Trade price/ cap cost aside, how many folks here would be happy to have him on the team?

Looking purely objectively, Clowney and Ansah isn't the worst combo in the league...

(I'm not getting too invested in this, outside of being intrigued by Duane Brown's tweet...)

If the trade compensation is equal to or greater than what we go t for Frank, I dont like it.

If he doesnt sign long term, we had better go to a Superbowl, or I dont like it.

If he does sign long term with us, if it's not for less than Clark, I dont like it.

But . . .

If the opportunity cost is the equivalent of a 2nd round pick, i like it.

And if he is the piece that puts us over the top, i like it.

And if we get him signed long term for a realistic price, I like it.

The Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson reports the Texans have interest in Seahawks C Justin Britt.
It's no secret the Texans are looking for offensive line help in any potential Jadeveon Clowney trade. Clowney appears headed to Seattle; the sides just need to work out the trade parameters. Britt has two years left on his deal and turned 28 this offseason. Texans incumbent C Nick Martin is entering the final year of his deal. Britt has also played guard and tackle in the NFL.

Apparently Britt could be going as part of the deal as per rotoworld

No way that happens. I could see Ifedi and a RB

Please don’t give up OL as part of the deal, John. The line hasn’t looked this competent for years...

Oh I think it could. Pocic was a stud center in college and it is his natural position. Pocic would be an upgrade. Even if they didn't move Pocic, Hunt is a serviceable player.

Yup! Good call. I agree.

I really want Clowney, but God it was such a struggle finding a viable center after trading Unger. Britt stabilizes that OLine.
