Jed has dug himself out of the 2014 hole he put himself in mostly by staying out of the public eye and letting KS/JL deal with football matters.
Due to the 49ers recent success, he could easily accept a trip to the WH if he was invited. No he wouldn't coerce his players into going or try to shut up Sherm. What would happen is Bosa and probably Beathard/Garropolo at least would go. Win win for the 49ers (headed by Eddie D's sister technically) and thus win-win for Jed.
