yeah they did say that, still seemed like he went down on his own. the funny thing is if he would have hit him it would be a penalty.

You have to hit him anyway. It's actually a free shot. Always take the penalty near the goal line because it is only half the distance.
It actually annoys me our defense gets so few roughing or unnecessary roughness penalties.
Shows the kind of heart (or lack thereof) our defense has.
If you can take a penalty but 'soften up' the QB for the rest of game - you need to do it.
