I can tell you in the 49er game he was under Center 15 times and had 6 runs for 43 yards. Against the Seahawks, genius, he was under Center TWICE and had two runs for 4 yards. You only played 1/2 a quarterback and against 3/4 of a playbook. Joe burrow also had a noticeable limp in the Seahawks game and none against the 49ers. The bengals are just now hitting their stride
Or the Niners defense isn't that good. And that's the reason Joe fricken Burrow ran for 43 yards, Mixon averaged 5.4 YPC, and Kirk Cousins put up 400 yards passing.

Joe Burrow ran for 531 career yards coming into the 49ers game. So he ran for nearly 10% of his career yards in just that game. That must have been a helluva bye for that calf. Apparently, the 49ers game was his launching point as the league's new dual threat QB. On the plus side for them, their vaunted secondary managed to hold him to four incompletions...so there's that.

Seattle doesnt even have the best defense in the division yet league. Lets slow the roll some and see how they perform against good QB's.
I dont think he was speaking statistically. Technically they aren't the best until they are. But his observation that we have top talent across the board is correct.

BTW, speaking of top defenses...

Here's a list of the few that are deemed capable of wining it all for their teams. Cleveland isn't on it, but my guess is they are just outside.

We've already beat them and Detroit, which is also on the list. Up next, Baltimore. If this team can manage to bat better than .500 against teams with top defenses in the league, the sky is the limit.

Big day tomorrow.

This is what happens when you don’t invest in the o-line.

Seeing the body language of the defense hasn't been good. Saw Brooks giving up on some plays. They were lucky they don't give up more touchdowns with their shoulder checks instead of wrapping up.

D looks lost against the read option. Let's hope it's just growing pains with our new stud Williams. Maybe they figure it all out.

Talent wise, the Seahawks have a great defense. So I understand the excitement.

The coaching leaves a lot to be desired. They are under achieving as per usual.
