NoE takes the opening kickoff to the house. Teams kick away from him the rest of the season and he doesn't get another one.

Hard to keep KO's away from anybody. Punts they can

Now that kickoffs are from the 35, most kickers can put them out the back of the end zone on a good % of their kicks. Make's returning pretty hard.

Fred Jackson breaks a 40 yard touchdown run that's called back for holding

One of our players get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty despite the Rams acting like ****s all game

Wilson has a crappy first half and the announcers talk about how we overpaid him before he goes on to have a perfect second half and they don't mention his contract again for the rest of the game

Announcers talk about how Sherman only covers the left side and "is he the best corner in the league if he doesn't shadow the best player"

We drop in the power rankings despite winning because Green Bay have a "dominant" victory against the crappy Bears, and Seattle has "no chance" against them in week 2.

We finish our first game of the season the same we we'll finish our 19th game - with a W

Gary Gilliam with at least one reception. Wilson will not have to put this whole game on his back. Clark and Lockett have solid games and Lynch and Jackson help us control the clock for the win.

Here's my guess...

Score: SEA 20 STL 7

Key Stats:
RW - 235 Pa Yds. 45 Ru Yds. 2 TDs.
Lynch - 90 Ru Yds. 25 Re Yds. 1 TD.
Jimmy Graham - 85 Re Yds. 2 TDs.
Defense: 5 Sacks. 2 INTs. <65 Ru Yds allowed.

Rationale: Much like Spring Training; Preseason stats are virtually meaningless. In a weird way, I actually feel very good about the offense, despite the ugliness of Preseason. The Rams have played us tough over the years, but we are due for a nice comfortable win against them. The Kam-Distraction only fuels a comfortable victory in a game that never seems that close. Lockett has 2 key returns while Frank Clark continues his dominance with 1.5 sacks. RW is clicking and the Graham-connection looks great/consistent. The Defense overall will look dominant but the dialogue will be more centered around how porous the Rams offense looks.

Graham will have a career day . wilson will pass for 3 tds or more

He's had several 8-10 catch, 120-140 yard, 2 TD games so that would be incredible.. But not impossible! That would scare the shit out of upcoming defensive coordinators.

I predict that the biggest hit of the game is Fred Jackson blowing up Ogletree on a blitz.

Also, I think Cary plays with more aggressiveness that we've seen so far in the preseason and jumps in front of a slant pattern for a pick six. Foles pulls the trigger too quickly because Bennett, Avril, and Clark all beat their men instantly.

We keep their defensive line from teeing off on our young line by mixing more motion with Lockette and possibly a razzle dazzle with BJ Daniels. Speed against their speed then bash them with our run game.
We take a 10 pt lead then break it open with payback trick plays.

We double their offensive production in yards and points.
