My two cents, when I first saw those tweets I felt it had more to do with how bad he still feels for throwing a game losing interception in the biggest game a football player can play in, than anything to do with his contract. No matter who you put the blame on(or, credit Pats) for that play, it seems that it is really haunting him, thus the cryptic tweets.
