He walked away from Pete when Pete involved himself in the offense and would not let him run it the way he wanted, he isn't coming here for more of the same.

Why would McDaniels take another OC job? He will have his choice of head coaching jobs.

We don’t need a “name” offensive coordinator. Someone with some energy and creativity will do just fine.

hes been a HC before it didnt go too well. Some guys are just suited better for a coordinator position

You could say the same about Pete. Heck Belicheat failed once too. Maybe McD would come be the coach in waiting?
