They aren't good enough to go deep into the playoffs, they have young QB's that seem to be on their way to being solid starters and maybe stars. They need to build a team, not mortgage the future for a player that is just not that good anymore. What a waste, it would be nice to have the guys they are going to bench on the Hawks for development.

Agree. The Jets are attention starved after being irrelevant for so long. Although it is fair to say Rodgers is probably still a big upgrade over all others they have in their QB room. Having said that I would fear he could become a toxic intruder to locker room chemistry.
