Jared Allen is going to get at least 2 years in his next deal. I would love an Avril type deal. You do not get a guy with his history on a prove it deal.

Less of a "prove it" deal and more of a "sign for a chance to win a ring" deal

Ya, like Avril's deal.

Also if we get 1 FA for cheaper then market value. I want Raji.

Let's hope a bunch of FA's who aren't offered huge deals come to the Hawks to win another Super Bowl on a sweet " Compete " deal

I have no idea what's he poised to get but I wonder if we'd consider Devin Hester at all if Tate leaves. PR duties, at least.

Also, Peppers just got cut. Again, no idea what's he's supposed to get, but I wonder if he or Ware would come cheaper if Clemons won't take a pay cut.

Breno goes to Carolina

Tate returns

Thurmond goes to NYJ

Surprise: Steve Smith chases ring, goes to Seattle on cheap deal

Why would Breno be a fit in Car?

And Seahawks re-sign Tate and sign Smith for a year with Harvin, Baldwin, Kearse, etc.

...........................................................................
Cut Chris Clemons or restructure to 1 yr, 4.4 mil deal
Cut Heath Farwell or restructure to vet min.
Restructure Miller...add another year and spread money out

Tate to NYJ: 5 yrs, 40 million
McDonald to Tennessee: 4 yrs, 16 million
Thurmond to Jacksonvile: 4 yrs, 25 million
Browner to Jacksonville: 2 yrs, 8 million
Margagos to GB: 2 yrs, 3 million

Baldwin re-signed 4 yrs, 16 million
Giacomini re-signed 1-2 yr deal worth 2.5-3.5 per
Hauschka re-signed 4 yr deal worth 2.25 per
McDaniel re-signed 2 yrs, 5-6 million

Kellen Davis re-signed vet min:
TEs: Miller + McCoy vs Davis vs Beckum vs Heflet vs Draft Pick
Move Luke Willson to WR at 6'5, 235 (-15 pounds) w possible 4.4 speed
WRs: Willson, Baldwin, Harvin, Kearse, Lockette, and Hester

Sign Devin Hester for 1 yr, 2 mil deal as PR/KR

(If Clemons is cut) re-sign Schofield 2 yrs, 4 million

Restructure and extend Russell Okung so his AAV is about 6.5-7.5 per
Extend Earl Thomas (use big signing bonus as pay raise)
Extend Sherman (use big signing bonus as the pay raise)

Its funny how predictable this free agency was in the out-line...I got the teams wrongs but every player I named leaving...did. Yet, some people are freaking out over the losses and not enough action to replace lost players.

Thurmond as yet to sign but from the sound of it, he won't be returning to the Seahawks.

I got Breno and OBS wrong but there's a small chance OBS does comes back.

I did name Hester as my only FA addition, a player who probably isn't on the Seahawks radar, but I also refrained from throwing out other random names to which the Seahawks have signed no other free agents as of yet. I didn't think they'd be big players.

The Kellen Davis/Luke Willson fantasy was exactly that more than a realtiy... however it will be interesting to see what the team does with Willson if they sign Finley but still keep Miller.

I still think Hauschka returns, I also forgot to add TJack to my list because I felt that was already implied.
