Here's Why Leach should be Coach of the Year.

Every single preseason preview predicted the Cougs to finish at the bottom of the conference. And, truthfully it probably wasn't unwarranted with tragic events leading into the season but Leach has taken a team with the 57th ranked talent composite to be the 8th ranked team in the CFP.

The season isn't over but if the vote were held right now he would certainly have my vote. It's good news/bad news though because he is already being discussed for high profile HC positions around the country.

I don't think Leach is leaving. He spent 10 years at Texas Tech in the Longhorns's shadow. He's never had a reputation as a job jumper.
