My guess is the workout of the qb is just the standard "leave no stone unturned" by JS.

Also looks like we replaced Bates (who went to Cleveland) on the practice squad

Working out the QB was odd. Or, maybe he was needed to throw balls at the new TE or WR?

Using him to work out the receivers or tight ends does make sense. I can also see JS keeping a file of players from every position at the ready. It isn't unheard of to lose a qb, and with only one backup on the roster, we'd need someone at the ready.

I'm already kicking myself for even typing that, but it's true

That was quick, they only re-signed him last Thursday.

Sorensen had the game of his life in a preseason game against Seattle a couple years ago. Probably stuck in JS's memory.

Apparently S Parks was waived/injured, so that explains why they grabbed a new Practice Squad Safety

I thought Doug did more at PR in one game than Walters did all year. This sucks. Plus, Walters will steal more targets from Richardson and Norwood.

Guess Walters is back at PR.

Rats.
Doesn't fumble. I'm fine with this though I still prefer ADB.

He doesn't fumble but you can't rely on him getting you good field position with his returns either. In tight games field position becomes a factor.

I don't think Walters gets many plays as WR. Look for him to be mostly exclusive to special teams. ADB had a minor groin injury and there was speculation that we'd be replacing him at PR this week during his presser monday.

This. No worries, P-Rich and Norwood will be getting more and more reps.
